Attorney Bio

Esther K. Su is a certified specialist in Estate Planning, Trusts and Probate. She has been practicing law for 27 years and has called Cupertino her home for almost her entire career. The majority of her clients are from San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, and Alameda County, and have assisted in cases Southern California too.

She is a member of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section of the State Bar of California, a member of the Silicon Valley Bar Association, and a member of the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce. She had served as extern to Retired U.S. Magistrate Judge Patricia Trumbull in the United States Federal Court, Northern District of California. She earned her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1996, and she had earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree with honors at U.C. Berkeley in 1993. During her term at Santa Clara Law School, she had the opportunity to study Jurisprudence at Oxford University.

Attorney Su assists clients with the preparation of living trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney for financial matters, advance health care directives, real property deeds, small estate affidavits, special powers of attorney, and estate tax returns. She also represents clients at Superior Court for probate cases, spousal property petitions, and Heggstad petitions. She also handles numerous trust administration cases.

She enjoys running, swimming, hiking, cooking and gardening, as well as playing ball with her youngest son. She also speaks Mandarin Chinese. She most recently joined YMCA Project Cornerstone as a class reader, a community program that brings connection, hope and inspiration to our community and provide opportunities for our youth to become the best versions of themselves.
